SCHOOL PRINCIPAL CHARGED WITH OVER M900K

The principal of Thuso e tla tsoa kae Handicapped Centre, ‘Mamonuku Mofilikoane (52) was dragged to Botha-Bothe Magistrate Court on the 14 March 2024.

The accused is charged with committing offences of corruption (Conflict of interest) by engaging or hiring a vehicle of her own brother, Letsipa Mofilikoane amounting to M529,456.00 without disclosing her personal interest and the nature of her relationship with the owner. She is also charged with intentionally and unlawfully embezzling, misappropriating, and diverting for her own benefit M375,593.00.

The accused was remanded before the Botha-Bothe Magistrate Relebohile Khongoana. She was represented by advocate Christopher Lephuthing and the for grown was Advocate ‘Malerato Ntsatsi, Advocate Lebohang Motelle and Advocate Liate Mpakanyane.
The accused was granted a cash bail of M200 and released on surety of M20,000.00.
Next remand will be on the 4th April for set down.
