Leribe, Hlotse- The Directorate on Corruption and Economic Offences held a sensitisation workshop bringing together heads of government departments, civil society leaders and representatives from various non-government organisations. The workshop was also for introduction of the DCEO North Regional Office management. The session was aimed at strengthening participants’ understanding of corruption and improving collaboration in promoting integrity within public institutions and community systems. Moreover, forms, causes and consequences of corruption were highlighted emphasizing how unethical practices weaken service deliveries and public trust. The DCEO Director General, Advocate Brigadier General Mants’o Sello urged the participants to be whistle blowers of corruption for the success of the mandate of DCEO and for “A corruption free Lesotho”.
