The Directorate on Corruption and Economic Offences under Youth Anti-Corruption Program held a youth sensitisation workshop in Butha Buthe on February 11th ,2026. The workshop brought together youth from across the district to engage in meaningful discussions on transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership. Participants were equipped with a clear understanding of what constitutes corruption, its impact on communities, and the importance of taking an active role in combating it. They gained confidence in identifying corrupt activities and understanding the proper procedures for reporting cases safely and responsibly. The workshop concluded with the election of a Youth Committee that will represent the North Regional Youth. The elected committee will play a key role in coordinating youth-led anti-corruption initiatives, raising awareness, and serving as a bridge between young people and the regional office.
