From Dialogue to Action: Youth Anti-Corruption Committees from Mafeteng and Mohale’s Hoek Unite Against Corruption.

February 24, 2026.

Mohale’s Hoek- The Directorate on Corruption and Economic Offences through Youth Anti-Corruption Program held a sensitisation workshop for Youth Anti-Corruption Committees from Mafeteng and Mohale’s Hoek, bringing together young representatives from sports, business, NGOs, and churches to strengthen the fight against corruption in their communities. The workshop provided a platform for participants to discuss different types of corruption, including bribery, conflict of interest, abuse of power, and mismanagement of resources, and to examine the specific challenges young people face within their respective sectors.

Through group discussions and acting demonstrations, participants explored real-life scenarios showing how corruption occurs and how it can be addressed responsibly. The interactive approach helped build confidence among the youth, equipping them with practical skills to identify unethical practices and respond appropriately. They were also sensitised on ethical conduct, accountability, transparency, and the importance of carrying out their duties with integrity and respect.
